Tension Ring Injector
Details:
ECR is an extremely
useful device for the cases of zonular dehiscence. However the
technique of insertion is difficult even in the expert hands since the
anatomy of the ocular structures is disturbed in cases which require
the ECR. Moreover the manipulation is to be performed through either
side port incision (1.4mm) or main phaco incision (3.2mm). The
endocapsular ring can be easily inserted in the capsular bag through a
1.4 mm incision with the help of an injector system, which is
extremely easy to use. The ECR is inserted into the front polythene
tube with the help of mcpherson foreceps. The cannula loaded with the
ECR is then inserted in the capsular bag and the ECR is gently pushed
out into the bag.
